I miss politics and NPP-Kwabena Agyapong

Suspended General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Agyapong has indicated that he has missed active politics and the members of his beloved NPP.

According to him, the need to meet party faithful and other colleagues triggered his coming for the ongoing extraordinary national delegates conference in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.

Kwabena Agyapong who was speaking to Kumasi-based Fox FM indicated that appointees under the current administration should ensure that they are working for the good of the people and Ghana and do away with all selfish desires which do not help in the forward going of the country.

The suspended General Secretary of the NPP indicated that members of the political party should have faith in the NPP because if the party is able to lay down the needed programmes and policies and put the country back on track, their needs will be equally be met.

“We need to go back to the basics of the political party. People should not worry the people in a position to pay them back for their work they have done to bring the party to power because when the party puts the country on track, they will all benefit from it. I want the people in public service to also eschew all forms of arrogance because sometimes I listen to them and their utterances are nothing to write home about. Let’s be selfless and work towards the growth of the country and the party.”

On his suspension, the former General Secretary indicated that although he had challenges and problems with it, the respect he had for the party made him accept it in order to ensure the party continues to enjoy the needed unity.
